How to Gather a Playback Log Gathering from Playback Desktop: Gathering manually:

When contacting Remoto Support due to an issue with Playback, you may be asked to gather a  Playback log file, or reproduce an issue and gather the resulting log file. 

How to Gather a Playback Log

The log is located at: machintosh HD > Users > [user] > Library > Application Support > SPG Studios > Remoto Playback > log.log

Gathering from Playback Desktop:

Logs can be accessed directly in Playback Desktop by clicking on the menu: Remoto Playback → Logs…

Selecting this option opens the log folder directly in Finder, bringing the window to the foreground automatically without any manual navigation.

 

Gathering manually:

Step 1: Using Apple's finder menu, click on the “Go” menu, and hold down option to reveal the hidden “Library” option, and click on it. 

Step 2: Click on “Application Support”.

Step 3: Click on “Remoto".

Step 4: Click on “Remoto Playback”, if it is not already opened for you.

Step 5: Gather the appropriate file according to the timeline you experienced and issue, and attach to your case response to Remoto Support.
