You’ve received an email notification that you've assigned a Role in a company's Remoto Workspace. Now what!? NEW REMOTO USER EXISTING REMOTO USER

You’ve received an email notification that you've assigned a Role in a company's Remoto Workspace. Now what!?

In the Remoto system, we offer enterprise customers the option to purchase a customized company-wide subscription. This allows a company Admin to manage a group of users (internal staff or freelancers) and control how they can use the subscription through a custom Admin Panel.

The Admin can add users and assign them roles. A user role can be an Admin, an Organizer, or both. Admins can add and manage users, while Organizers can schedule and run sessions paid for by the company’s subscription.

When the Admin adds you as a user and assigns you a role, you'll receive an email invitation to join the company. To confirm your participation in the Company, there are a few steps that will vary depending on if you are already a Remoto user or not.

Please follow the instructions below:

NEW REMOTO USER

A new Remoto user is someone who does not yet have a Remoto account and therefore is not part of the Remoto ecosystem. Follow the steps below to get started:

  1. You will receive receive two emails with the subject “Remoto Workspace: “XXX” from “noreply@remotopro.io”. One is notifying you that company <Company Name> has invited you to their company workspace. As a new user, this email will include a temporary password to be used to create your Remoto account.

The second email is a notification letting you know that a company role has been assigned to you. There is no action required on behalf of this email.

  1. Click “Open Remoto” to be redirected to the Playback download page.
  2. Download and install Playback.
  3. Open Playback and use the email you received your email notification at and the temporary password that was included to create your Remoto account. For in depth instructions, please see “Creating a Remoto Account”.
  4. Upon confirming your account and logging in, you'll be presented with a dialog notifying you that you have a  “Pending Company Invitation”  from company “XXX” (Demo company 1 in the screenshot below). Choose “Accept” to confirm your participation in the company.

Once you've accepted the invitation, you are now a part of the “Company” and can perform the role assigned to you.
